Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are very pleased to offer luxurious home away from home suites for your companion! We also offer Doggie Daycare during the week. All pets that vacation at our pet resort will be exercised a minimum of four/five times daily, receive a morning and evening treat, and be given exorbitant amounts of TLC every day! Upgrade amenities are available to surpass the individual needs of your companion while they are on their fun filled vacation! We offer a weekend drop off and pick up time on Saturday and Sunday.
We offer grooming services by appointment only on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and the first Saturday of the month. Our drop off time is between 7:30 am and 8:30 am, if an earlier drop off time is need let us know and we will try to accommodate your request. As soon as your furry baby is ready you will be called and can come pick them up at your earliest convenience .
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week during normal business hours. If the emergency occurs after hours, we refer all emergencies to the Decatur Emergency Clinic (256-350-7001). They are staffed with veterinarians and technicians 24 hours a day who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately! If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
We specialize in internal medicine and surgery of small animals.
Dr. Donna Lauderdale will treat rabbits and pocket pet's.
Eastside Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Discover, Visa or CareCredit. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
When unexpected illness or injury strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
